Plan Development Program

Create a Climate Adaptation Plan that is ready for action!

Climate Solutions University is an innovative program led by climate change experts from Model Forest Policy Program.

It is for communities that need to create a local or regional forest & water adaptation plan.

The program is also suitable for organizations and municipalities who wish to integrate forest, water, and economic strategies into existing plans or planning processes.

From January – December, your organization creates an effective, team-based, and actionable community plan with steps to:

  • Form and engage a local planning team
  • Conduct a local climate, forest, water, and economic risk analysis
  • Develop practical adaptation strategies
  • Build public support to implement your plan.

Take tangible steps to protect your community from the negative impacts of climate change and benefit from climate-related opportunities!

A maximum of 6 communities are selected to participate!
